OKX, a major global cryptocurrency exchange, has officially launched its services in the Netherlands, rebranding from Okcoin Europe.

The launch includes a centralized crypto exchange (CEX) and the OKX Wallet, which allows Dutch users to trade around 150 cryptocurrencies, with at least 60 trading pairs available in euros.

OKX has integrated with the local payment system iDeal and the European SEPA system to enable seamless euro deposits and withdrawals.

In addition to spot trading, the OKX CEX offers staking and other services.

The OKX Wallet allows users to maintain full custody of their crypto assets.

The launch is part of OKX’s long-term commitment to the Netherlands, with a local team and products designed based on user feedback.

Originally serving the Netherlands since 2021 under the name Okcoin Europe, OKX’s rebranding occurred in April. OKX holds registrations with the Dutch Central Bank and a virtual financial asset service provider license in Malta.

To celebrate the launch, new users who sign up by July 3 can receive a bonus of up to 50 euros.

Recently, OKX also withdrew its Hong Kong Virtual Asset Licensing Regime license application.
